Information For Buyers
Home Team Northwest has professional Buyer's Specialists that are committed to helping you find your new dream home while representing your needs and best interests at all times. When a home buyer selects a traditional" Realtor, the agent and client must work with many different people and offices to coordinate the sale. This can stretch one's limits and occasionally cause some items to accidentally "slip through the cracks". At Home Team Northwest there are several qualified people at your disposal. Each team member does their part to ensure that your purchase transaction is processed in a timely manner and is processed as smoothly as possible, keeping you, our client, fully informed every step of the way. As a buyer, you will have your agent and your personal transaction coordinator that will keep you informed through every step of the transaction and will be available to answer any questions or concerns that you may have.
How Buyer Agency Works
By law, a Realtor must operate under the supervision of a licensed Broker. A Broker oversees all the agents in a particular office. The law also requires an agent to conduct business under certain legal guidelines regarding agency. These guidelines are outlined in the Law of Agency.
Why use a Buyer's Agent?
Represents Buyer's needs first (the Listing Agent represents the Seller's)
Negotiating expertise brings the best price and terms
Avoid legal pitfalls
The seller almost always pays the buyer's agent's commission when the sale is closed
