I worked as a professional in the parks and recreation field for 32 years with three different government entities: Superintendent of Recreation for Pierce County (1985-2005), Recreation Manager for the City of Lynnwood (1975-1985), and Recreation Supervisor for the Bainbridge Island Parks and Recreation (1975-1985). My accomplishments include being elected President of the Washington Recreation and Park Association and serving on its Executive Board from 2001-2005. I am a graduate of Sumner High School and Western Washington University. My wife Marcy and I currently reside in Sumner and have a daughter Briana, a 2005 graduate of Washington State University.
